Courtesy Officer does not independently guarantee, warrant, or certify that any individual using the platform is an active, legitimate, certified, commissioned, or authorized peace officer, law enforcement officer, security professional, or government official unless explicitly verified through our internal verification process.

Users are solely responsible for independently verifying the identity, authority, credentials, and legal status of any individual encountered through or represented within the App.

Courtesy Officer is not liable for:

• impersonation,

• fraudulent activity,

• misrepresentation of law enforcement status,

• unauthorized account creation,

• criminal conduct,

• misuse of badges, uniforms, credentials, or identifying information,

• or any damages, injuries, losses, or claims arising from interactions between users or third parties.

Any person falsely representing themselves as a peace officer or law enforcement official may be violating state and federal laws. Users are encouraged to immediately report suspicious activity, impersonation, or misuse of the platform to local law enforcement authorities and to Courtesy Officer support.

The App is not intended to replace emergency services, 911, official law enforcement dispatch, or governmental verification systems.

Courtesy Officer reserves the right to suspend, remove, investigate, or report any account suspected of impersonation, fraud, unlawful conduct, or violation of platform policies without notice.
